Our New Name: Why REV?

On March 2, 2015 we announced something exciting — a new name and a new brand identity. We’re very excited that True Market Solutions is now REV!

But not to worry — only our name and brand identity have changed. All the great things about us — our company, leadership, staff, and Sustainability Circle® program are still the same.

Why the change and why REV?

Our previous name, True Market Solutions, served us well, and we still deeply believe in the ideal of a ‘true market’ economy where prosperity is intrinsically tied to the growth of social, environmental, and economic capital. However the world of sustainability is evolving and accelerating and we need to continue to inspire this evolution.

REV (pronounced ‘rev’) better communicates not only our ongoing commitment toward helping organizations accelerate their sustainability impact, but also the many benefits of sustainability: REVitalizing the workplace, and REVealing new opportunities and REVenue streams, and REVersing the negative behaviors that contribute to climate change. You get the picture. It also reflects our aspiration to co-create a REVolutionary spirit and sustainability consciousness through our work and our partnerships.

While change is exhilarating, we know that it can be a bit unsettling as well, at least for a time. So you can still find us at truemarketsolutions.com, though we encourage you to bookmark our new URL – revsustainability.com, and email us at @revsustainability.com. You’ll also see that we haven’t changed much else about our website. If you’re a current or past Circle participant, your portal access is the same, with all the same content.
